Ruffed grouse are so popular in Alaska that they're extremely skittish and the only birds that I've been able to walk right up on are ptarmigan. Once up at Worthington Glacier we had one just walking along in front of us to where we had to stop walking a couple of times.
Also had one running...
I never liked Vortex based on having never liked the Diamondback series, but it's almost as if the Vipers are a different binocular altogether.
Maybe for me, Vortex Diamondback has no value, but Vortex Viper and higher are a different thing altogether.
I don't know which printer one of my friends got because I wasn't in the market but I know there are some available out there that are designed for the owner to be able to buy refill bottles if you search for them.
Defintely keep the warmth on it and I seem to have used something called otic drops years ago. That little dropper bottle lasted me a long time but I think it was a prescription thing and fortunately haven't needed it again since. Just took a quick look and it appears the otic drops are easily...

If there's chance of brownies around I'd rather have the .300 and do my homework on being comfortable with my aim. Not even sure how much I'd want that .223 in black bear country, especially if it was Prince of Wales. I'd like your equation better if you'd said .270, 7mm or something more of...
I'm probably average size and never had any trouble with my .375 HH either. Maybe it's just that a lot of shooters just prefer the lighter recoiling rounds, rather than not being able to handle the larger or more powerful ones.
I was pretty lucky in grade school when we started getting a case of beer on Friday night and I soon realized that I didn't like the taste or what it made me feel like. I can enjoy a little bit of a buzz now and then, but all my life now and then has months in between sometimes, and I never...
Crossing the borders are a roll of the dice every time and I've been given an endless hassle by both sides, only to be let right through by both at different times, but my worst experiences ever have been at the hands of the Canadians. Blaine, Beaver Creek, Prince Rupert being the only ones who...
