    Received the Scarpa ribelle hd earlier this week. They fit my feet better than the Zamberlins. Pretty comfortable out of the box, need to upgrade the insole. Planning on breaking these in and using for the upcoming hunt.

    Tried both sizes in the zamberlins mountain trek gtx. Tried different lacing techniques, can't get them to fit comfortably. Too much heel movement. Just ordered a set of scarpa ribelle hd's. Hopefully they fit my foot better.

    Received the Zamberlins today. Went with a 12 which is typically what I wear. Used a midweight darn tough sock. Up and down the stairs for several minutes, noticed a good bit of heel slip. Put on a heavyweight sock and that helped some. Will go down 1/2 size and see if that resolves the issue...

    Just ordered a pair of Zamberlin mtn trek GTX rr boots. More of a true mountaineering boot and quite a bit stiffer than my Crispis. I should have them next week. If they don't fit my foot correctly I plan on trying A Scarpa brand boot.

    156 berger has worked great for me. Have harvested several large/med size game. Haven't lost an animal or had one travel over 40yds. I haven't tried either of the other bullets mentioned.

    Definitely agree on the spotter. Make sure outfitter has good glass or bring yours. Yes, carry your own range finder and spare battery. I know a guy who's range finder went for a swim, ruined his whole hunt.

    They are almost non existent. They show up when the factory does a production run, then all gone again. If you find them buy enough to wear out a barrel. They will be easy to offload if you don't like them for some reason.

    I've whacked over 20 animals with the 165 bergers. Big bull elk, large african game, exotics, wt deer and big boar hogs. It's my preferred bullet. It's been lethal and shoots very good for me.
