Both have been used in the field a good amount. Mainly trying to downsize my collection
ESEE-6 was used for some bush crafting and has wear marks but is still in great condition. Blade has been touched up a couple times.
$110 TYD obo
Izula-II was carried as my EDC for a while and I have field...
Burris fast fire is a good middle priced option. Burris sells a plate that mounts between the stock and receiver that you can mount the red dot too. I believe it's called their "speedbead" system.
It's a Henry Model X .410 with a 20" barrel.
Hoping to get a fully ported 6" extension that threads into a invector style choke and still has the capability to have chokes threaded into it
Since no one makes a .410 shotgun suppressor I figured I'd make my own way to attach one. The idea is...
Hey fellow Roksliders, I'm looking for a shop to make a custom .410 barrel extension.
I've read on some other forums that other countries have them available for purchase but finding and acquiring them in the state's seems to be more difficult. So I'm just putting out a wonder if anyone knows...
Been using mine the last couple years and seems to work well. I like how modular it is being able to swap out accessory pouches to hold range finder, bear spray, misc extra equipment etc based on what I'm hunting or doing. I just ordered the hand warmer attachment for a late season Montana hunt...
Taken out of box and tested around the house so they're basically a NIB set. I ended up going super lightweight with my setup and opted for some 8x30 instead, so I no longer want these. $500+ MSRP
$400 shipped
I realized my comment is probably confusing people because this is a "better than" thread. I was just responding to Dobermann's post saying people who use holdover "fuddlore" wound animals. Basically I was just saying that people who dial can also have bad shots because of wind. Dialing isn't...
Whoa guy, I was just responding to Dobermann's post saying people who use holdover "fuddlore" wound animals. I also stated that with enough practice holdover can be effective.
Also never said I was better than anyone. Just merely stating a fact that the majority of shooters can't call wind...
Oh, my comment was a compliment! Basically every caliber you listed Ron also says is perfect for deer. There's no need to go overboard into magnum territory lol
I've been using these Alpaca wool socks for the last 3 years. Sure they're "hip and trendy" but I work in construction and own a small farm and the same 3 pack set I bought 3 years ago is still in use. Only one sock has a small hole in the heel but the rest are in great shape. I'll wear the same...
I think I mimic most others with the ccf and it's reliability. Sucks hiking in 15 miles and having a pinhole ruin the trip. Ccf if just so reliable. Might not be the comfiest, but it's light and durable.
Welcome from the Seattle area. I'm in the same boat but no friends on the forum so I'm trying to get the post count up as well to buy some nice used goodies lol
Glad to hear all the positive feedback for buying and selling on rokslide. Definitely glad I joined as I'm looking to get me some nice second hand optics!
