From my experience pse has a “jumpy” back wall. If you’re having issues I’d get measured to make sure you have the proper draw length and then play adjust weight. I switched to their flagship model the nxt about two years ago and it was night and day difference but still loved my first stinger
Yea I purchased the scope years ago, before I planned on really shooting further than 400. That’s pretty much what I did. I found the scope specs for the bdc crosshairs and then found what zero I needed with the ballistic calculator for the ammo I’m using to match up the 3,4,5&600 yard marks to...
I’m new to the calculator portion. I have a closed turret bdc scope that I used the calculator to match up bullet trajectories with and zero to the 3,4,5&600 yard crosshairs. I’ve been shooting out to 850 yards on 7x10 targets with it and not having to adjust anything. I don’t plan on shooting...
I can input elevation and it calculated drop at the distances. If I adjust .5moa down and add 9k elevation the trajectories are very similar. Just not sure how accurate the elevation change is.
I
Yea in my ballistic calculator for 9k if I adjust .5moa low my trajectory would be 500 1.5” high and 600 3.1” high compared to where it’s sighted in now now. Just wondering how accurate the calculator is for elevation change
Coming from the east coast to Colorado for rifle season elk. I searched ballistic charts to calculate difference for my 7rem mag at 0 to 9k and it’s around .5moa adjustments high at 9k. Does anyone have any real world experience shooting long range coming from the east coast or lower elevation.
Can only speak to accuracy and consistency on the 168gr Berger hybrid hunters. Every shot was almost touching and didn’t have 1 out of two boxes that wasn’t grouping out of my 7mm rm. wanted to like the ABLR but had several that wouldn’t feed right and a few rounds not group.
Heading to Colorado for second season rifle elk and looking at getting some camp shoes. What do you recommend for warm/confortable camp shoes for snow?
Looking at picking up some glassing mitts to go along with my other gloves (kuiu axis and kenai). The black ovis taiga glommit and Fl brooks down glass mitt are both on sale right now. Has anyone tried these two out?
I was planning on wearing the kenai over the axis if it got really cold but wasn’t sure if they were going to be warm enough or should get a true glommit
Heading to Colorado for 2nd season rifle hunt. I picked up a pair of kenai gloves and they feel pretty warm for their weight but haven’t had a chance to test them. I have a pair of kuiu axis gloves that I’ve used for a few years and was planning on layering the kenai over the axis for glassing...
I ended up getting the regular moonlite not the elite. It is about 1/2lb and an inch or so larger packed than the helinox and elite but was way more comfortable.
