So the two would be 20/25 and about 45? I shoot’s a 70lb 30” at about 475 arrow total weight. I was hoping the gaps would be around 25 & 40 that way I could set the top at 25 and be good anywhere to 40 for wt
Yea I loved going from the 5 to single but want one sight for elk and wt and really like the look of that one. I know there’s some variance but when you have the top pin set at 20 & 25 where does the second pin show?
Awesome thanks I’m trying to decide for an archery jacket to wear down to mid 30s and thinking this might be perfect but haven’t seen a ton of real life reviews
Obviously it’s person dependent but what temps would you think it works for and did you have any wind? Debating if it will be fine into mid 30s or go with the reg proximity.
That’s what I was doing with the single pin. I’d set it at 30 and use the bubble for 50 and get pretty close guessing where the 20 and 40 hit but think I’d like the second pin to be more accurate if the deer spooks I can use that other pin instead of guessing
Yea that’s a heck of a deal right now they’re like 320-350 full price and can get the hha for about 100$ cheaper. It’s definitely an investment so I want to find one I’ll use for awhile
Yea that’s what I’m looking for I had a single pin and practiced enough when I went out for elk I could set it at 30 and be fine from about 20-40 but for deer I’d want a little more but still don’t want to go back to the 5 pin
Looking at upgrading my cbe tactic hybrid 1 pin and was looking at the HHA tetra Ryz 2 pin. I swapped from a 5 pin to the single pin and shot much better without all the pins blocking my sight. As much as I like the single pin I feel having the additional option on the post would help for...
Elk and white tail.
i have the single pin and it was fine for elk when I had more time to dial it in but for wt I feel like I a double vertical would help when it’s not as easy to adjust and they are more spooky than elk. I was looking at the cbe trek 2v and the hha tetra ryz 2 pin that are...
Yea I was looking at the black and gold dual pin and the spot hogg fast Eddie xl. I don’t really need to move them independently I like that you can set the top pin to 30 and then still have a 40 option if needed
Not a fan of 5 pin sights. I feel it clouds my sight too much. Tried a cbe single pin slider and shot much better but think I want a two pin slider. I’ve seen some with the single vertical bar with two fibers on it and think that may be what I’m looking for. Any recommendations?
This will be my first time out for second season. What’s your go-to mid day strategy? Get up high and glass, boots on the ground looking for fresh sign, or slow hunt dark timber?
