.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

One thing I'm not sure has been mentioned about bears is they slow their heart beat to 3 a minute when they hibernate. 20 seconds with zero blood pressure is a long time to run away or toward you. They are scary fast in short bursts and stack on adrenaline with fight or flight response...

LR primers in place of LRM

I looked up powder capacity on 257. Its on the line between 60 to 70grs were usually people go to magnum primers. I would suggest you watch a video by the real gunsmith on utube called primers. Its 20mins but its packed with info and real world experience. Sent from my SM-G986W using Tapatalk

    LRM primer issue

I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas why these large rifle magnum primers burnt holes on the edge of the primer. See pics below. Two different brands of primer. Two different rifles. Two different powders. Not a max charge on either. Not loose primer pockets either. I'm at a loss. Sent from...

Feedback for HNT 26 for a long range rifle?

I said above depending on the caliber you MAY have to use a heavy metal mag. I definitely know about the plastic ones cause I own one. I bought the la 300wm/ 7rem one Sent from my SM-G986W using Tapatalk

Feedback for HNT 26 for a long range rifle?

Strange I tried one in my 7prc and it works fine first round and the next 2 tip bad and jam up. I abandoned it. Went back to aic mag. Hoping they release ones made for prc's. Did you do anything to yours to get them to feed? Sent from my SM-G986W using Tapatalk

Feedback for HNT 26 for a long range rifle?

It also got better with the more weight added but counter productive to a lightweight hunting rig. I think if I were to do it over I would have tried a seekins havak slam. Would check more of boxes for my application at least. Sent from my SM-G986W using Tapatalk

Feedback for HNT 26 for a long range rifle?

I suggest you go shoot one before you buy. This is of course if you have never shot a chassis before. The all metal gives a tuning fork recoil note sensation that I never see anyone talk about. Took me a bit to resolve it with upgrading the pad to obi one and getting the negative comb right and...
