    Alright, I guess I'll specify it as someone that has a certified pedigree as a quality instructor, ie they have positive reviews and are known as an educated instructor. I guess to put it plainly, do your homework. Ask around. Find someone that people trust to know what they are talking about.

    If you're looking for an audio book, I just finished The Man in the Arena. It's the story of Navy Seal Eddie Gallagher and how he got screwed over by the military. It's about 15 hrs but pretty interesting to hear how the military machine can turn on one of its own!

    Hydration

    What are your thoughts on hydrating on a backpack elk hunt? Do you guys just use water? Do you mix in some kind of electrolytes? If so what do you use? Does it depend on what part of the country you're hunting? I've been on a couple trips for elk but just curious what others are doing.
