7prc for sure. The ballistics are better with any of the 3 bullets currently offered. The recoil is minimal (at least for me). I have been spotting my own impacts with a 7.8 (scoped) pound 7prc on game over 400 yard and one under 300 yards
I have a Duplex lite 26 inch Wolf gray 44mag I would be willing to part with. I have a Wild gray large belt, and a ranger green medium belt to go with it. Pm me if interested

ok, think about this for a minute though. You’re 70 years old and have been putting in for sheep for 20 years now. You have a lifelong dream of accomplishing a sheep hunt. You look in the mirror and realize that you probably only have 2-3 years of putting in left in you before there is no way...
I guess I’m not really understanding what your frustration is? If you drew a regular sheep tag that took 25+ years to draw then would you shoot a 1 horned ram? No? Then these 1 horned rams are dying of old age or predation. Wouldn’t you rather someone have a chance at them?
As far as the elk...
I love the idea. It gives a person who may never draw a sheep tag an opportunity to go hunt and old warrior of a ram! What’s the bad precedent it sets?
