    6.5 PRC or 7 PRC?

7prc for sure. The ballistics are better with any of the 3 bullets currently offered. The recoil is minimal (at least for me). I have been spotting my own impacts with a 7.8 (scoped) pound 7prc on game over 400 yard and one under 300 yards

    Fierce 7prc carbon rival

Lately I have seen a few negative things about Fierce Firearms. With that being said I don’t feel like it’s good to have negative posts without seeing the positive as well. So buyers can weigh out the good and the bad experiences with different users. I bought a 7mm prc carbon rival 22” barrel...

    AZ “pioneer” season for sheep

Is is anyone begging G&F for “special tags” or is the state seeing an unused resource as an opportunity that can be utilized?

    AZ “pioneer” season for sheep

You’re tired of outfitter welfare? That 70 year old guy doesn’t have to hire an outfitter. He could have some kids or grandkids come out and spend a week glassing with him, very easily. An outfitter provides a service. NO ONE has to hire an outfitter to hunt on public land in AZ. A person...

    AZ “pioneer” season for sheep

I can’t imagine the revenue being significant at all. It frustrates me when everyone is focused on the revenue generated from a G&F department. Not what that revenue is being used for. Or the opportunity the g&f department is trying to open doors to. The resource they are attempting to find a...

    AZ “pioneer” season for sheep

ok, think about this for a minute though. You’re 70 years old and have been putting in for sheep for 20 years now. You have a lifelong dream of accomplishing a sheep hunt. You look in the mirror and realize that you probably only have 2-3 years of putting in left in you before there is no way...

    AZ “pioneer” season for sheep

I guess I’m not really understanding what your frustration is? If you drew a regular sheep tag that took 25+ years to draw then would you shoot a 1 horned ram? No? Then these 1 horned rams are dying of old age or predation. Wouldn’t you rather someone have a chance at them? As far as the elk...

    AZ “pioneer” season for sheep

I love the idea. It gives a person who may never draw a sheep tag an opportunity to go hunt and old warrior of a ram! What’s the bad precedent it sets?

AZ Coues vs CO Muley vs MT Gen.

Arizona coues deer hunting is my favorite hunt in the west. I’ve lived in WA, MT, and AZ. I hunted every state in the west except Nevada.
