Hello all,
Still newish here. First time hunting elk in 3rd season here in Colorado. Any tips you’d share? It’s been super dry here so not exactly sure what the snow seasons gonna look like.
Thanks!
Could give the Stone Glacier De Havilland Lite a look. I believe they are knee pad compatible and they have full zippers down the legs to dump heat. I use the heavy version of these pants and I like them.
Question for you on the sizing. I wear a 10.5 in pretty much everything (Nike,Vans, etc.) do the guides run true to size? Should I be looking at a 10.5 in those?
Much appreciated. I’ve only used non-insulated but I was concerned about hiking through snow which is what led me down the path of even considering insulated. Any preference between the guides and schnees?
It’s time for me to pick up a pair of new boots. Looking at either the guides or Nevada. I hunt mostly Colorado and during late/rifle seasons. Would you give one or the other the nod? insulated or uninsulated?
Thanks!
