I don't judge anyone on their decision for draw weight, but I do find it funny that many of the guys saying 60# is more than adequate for hunting also scoff at those of use who shoot sub 500 gr arrows because of "penetration."

Doesn’t really matter how he ended up there (if he did in fact hear your shots as you assume). As long as it’s public land, common courtesy should have to stay a respectful distance away from whoever was there first. Roofing nail in the tire is not cool though.

Anybody have actual studies on different animal’s ability to distinguish between camo and solids? I’ve had success with both but curious if there’s science out there to back up one vs the other.

Great write-up! I share many of the concerns about draw cycle and forgiveness due to the brace height but I was curious how some real-world shooters felt.
