    New to muzzleloader.

I've seen some of the remington Premier 209s other than that everyone has 777s locally anyways. I like to shop local but pur local place prices stuff to where it's cheaper online sadly.

    New to muzzleloader.

Biggest reason I thought of Varaflame was because of trying to hunt down good 209 primers cause I have plenty of everything else. Usually can find Winchester 209 but ive not had good luck with their stuff recently ammo wise. Yeah I know recoil can be harsh idk if the Crossfire 2 will even like...

    New to muzzleloader.

Appears to have the regular 209 plug. I'm going to get the Varaflame conversion an use Large Rifle Magnum primers I trust them more an have plenty. Yeah I'm probably changing the rings out too they just look chinsy. I'm not sure how scope will do it's a bushnell banner I believe a shotgun scope...

    New to muzzleloader.

Yeah it's 1 in 28. I may end up shooting some custom bullets. I wish they made the sst in a non sabot for 45 cal. Not quite as many options as I thought there would be. But I got a damn good deal on the gun with a scope which I may change anyways. I was going to try Shooters World Black Powder...

    New to muzzleloader.

So haven't used a muzzleloader since I was 13 or 14. No dummy to guns I usually bow hunt in muzzleloader season but been wanting one. So I got a Accura LRX .45 cal 4 containers of Blackhorn 209. Pretty sure I'm going to use some type of full bore bullet. Gonna do the varaflame large rifle...

    7mm PRC short barrel?

I just got a cheap savage apex an cut down figured if I didn't like it I'd atleast have a decent action. I may try the Ramshot Grand I think everyone is snagging up the Vihtavuori now that Alliant is so scarce. TSX would be good the ELDM an Xs were just what were local

    7mm PRC short barrel?

The Federal ELDX loads average 2854 from my 18 inch barrel so you'd be good with those in a 20. I had same thought at you though with the 162s I only have 2lbs of RL26 currently N560 is my go to. It gets 2900 easy

    The 22 creedmoor thread

It was 3510 last time I chronographed but shot a box or more since then noticed bolt lift was snug. So I wasn't gonna back it off a whole lot.

5 shots below the reflective tape was just shooting to Chrono I was shooting 39.4 of Varget but barrel seemed to speed up so I backed down to 39.2 an didn't expect this speed. More than I was getting before lol.

7mm prc, how short is too short?

Agreed, yeah app defaulted to Hornadys presets. Cause I was back an forth of what I wanted for a short barreled magnum. Knew if I got 2800 I'd be good. Now dealing with the clicker issue

Tikka XLR Element Lightweight Magazine Options

Bolt body drug across the feed lips I took a wood chisel an slowly peeled away little by little. Magazine has the slightest bit of play front to back an if it's tilted forward it'll drag a little on it but not enough to work about. Mag is adjusted tight as it when get. Put 3 rounds in mag an fed...
