Personally, Both. Both is good.
Each have significantly different strengths and weaknesses. They should compliment each other. If there's a cloudy day or week, then fire up the generator - multi-fuel can have the fuels store for a while such as propane.

I use a Zeiss V4 for mountain hunting. On my last elk hunt I slipped and fell on a talus slope. A rock took a gouge right out of the elevation turret. It held zero and still tracks fine. That's good enough reliability for me.
I love hunting in the full moon . I can find elk early and move in on them. And be on top of them at leagle shooting hours. Elk rut the same time every year. A full moon means nothing.
I really like my Nightforce. In full disclosure. Fit, feel, function, image quality, etc. I like moa scopes and go with a simple moa graduated cross. No Christmas tree’s. I also really like their zero stop.
