    I would tape the barrel and put a can on it. I use a Silencerco Omega 36M. You have a brake with it and that is what the silencer screws on too. Works amazing on my 300 RUM. I have run just a brake on my 300 Win Mag, it was helpful.

    I would say your calories are good. If you are hungry, you will have lower energy. Thus hunting will suffer. It also depends what you are doig. If you are hiking and calling constantly, that is different than sitting and glassing.

    I have been stepping away for years from Mountian House, Peak, ect. I do all my own now and it is way cheaper. Not a big deal if your only doing a week long hunt once a year but when you spend weeks out there it starts to add up. Great little channel and you get the calorie count as well.

    The only real review if you can claim it as a review was on Backfire. He is not a real impartial guy, aka he Simps for Fierce. He did have it on a few times and liked it. He did a scope review of like 8 or 10 and it failed the water test. He through it in the pool for an hour.
