I ended up buying a barely used 2 year old model of the 8.5x42 ELs for $1590 , will probably buy a 15x bino in the future not sure if I need it immediately
I only shoot out to 300 yards and the area I hunt deer are notoriously hard to see, most of the time they hide in thick timber until dusk and dawn. In a situation like that would you still take binos with ranging over better glass?

T3x superlite with 3-9x40 trijicon accupoint and UM micro 1" rings about as close as a scope can be to barrel with out touching it, they seem quality. UM seems like an awesome company their Canadian distributer was on break for a week so they got a pair of rings sent to me from Merica in 3 days...
Are there any Canadian gunsmiths on here who can share a bit of insight on what getting into the business is like in Canada?

thx brother , I can get them off fine, but I had everything leveled perfectly for once so was considering just trying to rock it with one screw so I didnt have to remount it. Might just shoot it for awhile for fun to see how long it will hold zero like that.
