    I'd say Tikka in 6.5 chopped to 16" will do everything you need and a modest price and cover longer range. Personally, I hunt inside 500yds mainly. I'm building a 6ARC bolt gun on a carbon fiber stock, 16" barrel, suppressed as my all new around go-to. No more long rifles or recoil for me.

    Do majority of people sell there guns when they upgrade/replace with a new one?

    I sell if something doesn't fit a need any longer or any possible future need, is replaced by something that fills the previous need. For instance, building a 6arc bolt now that will take the place of a R700 BDL in 270 which is an odd caliber for me, so I'll likely sell the 700.

    Was at 4 months on a DA Mask in trust and 6 months on a Primal in trust. Called to check in and the next day the Mask was denied/cancelled due to a docusign error. Refiled that as individual and just got approved after 4 weeks exactly. Primal at 7 months now on the trust and counting.

    I’m experimenting now. Had two cans in a trust application. One Sept 2023 and one Dec 2023. The Dec was denied due to a sketchy docusign “error” so I resubmitted it Friday 3/15/24 as and individual. We shall see.

    9/26/23 & 12/7/23. Waiting. Last call to ATF said trusts average 225 days. One of my new shooting buddies submitted 2/20 and just got approved today. Two weeks!

    9/26/23 Trust 12/7/23 Trust Called today to check on both and got the typical run around although she did say if not approved in a couple weeks to call back, that things were moving quickly. We shall see.
