    Low Sodium Prepared Freeze Dried Meals

    If you're backpack hunting and at high activity levels daily, don't worry too much about sodium. You're body needs salt and uses it readily. It is important for proper metabolic function. If you're not at high activity, then stressing the sodium is wise.

    Personally, I would find an organization that helps conserve winter range and migration routes. Those are the 2 most important aspects to preserving herd health (for elk and mulies).
