    Prime Inline 3 Let Off

Anyone here have experience with the Prime Inline 3 bow? I have one and the stated letoff is 85%, but I'm looking to reduce it to around 80% if possible. I read other places about changing out the o-ring for the stops to a larger one, but I was wondering if anyone has experience with reducing...

What to do after harvesting mountain lion

So you can use the animal at least? I was worried that the meat is not great to eat, and I don't much care to mount it like a taxidermy.

What to do after harvesting mountain lion

I've been out hunting big game (deer, elk, etc.) and picked up a mountain lion tag just in case I run into one. My question to anyone with experience, is what do you do with a lion after the kill? Are they good to eat? I don't have experience in this area.

Elk that recently moved through area

In your experience, do elk bed away from their feeding area? Sounds like they will feed in a certain area then travel possibly miles away to go bed for the day.

How far will a herd go when they get spooked

How are you finding them in the thick cover? Looking for prints on the ground or calling or what?

Elk that recently moved through area

I could see this being the case very easily. The area we found same day sign was also heavily wooded with plenty of places to sit still and hide.

Elk that recently moved through area

Hi there, just returned from first elk hunt for my buddy's tag unsuccessful. Everywhere we went, we seemed to be less than a day late to finding any elk. The areas had fresh signs everywhere, but no elk. Anyone care to give any advice on what they might do in this situation?

How far will a herd go when they get spooked

Just returned from an unsuccessful elk hunt here, and a similar thing happened. Anyone have any insight on when it would be good to return to the busted area? (I know that's probably a tough question) Or is it really even worth checking the spot again?

Let's help some guys/gals get their first archery elk!

I'm going on my first archery elk hunt this year in September with my buddy. From everything I've gathered in the thread so far the most important thing is going where the elk are, staying down wind and being slow when in elk, and bugling isn't a necessity all the time. That's just a very basic...

What don't I know from watching YouTube hunts?

I think this is interesting. There are some people that say it's better on the opener since the goats aren't pressured yet. However, I went a week and half after opener this year and had much better luck finding them.

    Archery Pronghorn

Congrats to everyone that got one this year. This year was my first year hunting antelope, and I tried spot and stalk. I was unsuccessful. A lot of other hunters in my unit were sitting blinds, and they set them up long before the season started. I would say one of my biggest frustrations was...
