    Leupold vx3hd 4.5-14 failure

Except the LHT is over twice the price of the vx3hd 4.5-14 🤔

    Seekins Element 6.5cm - Optic?

So I was ready to pull the trigger on a “like new / demo” NF nx8 4-32x F2 today, and they’ve all left the market?? Mile High had one online, as did Euro Optic and Scope List, but as of this morning, they’re all showing out of stock with no ability to back order. Optics Planet even has a...

    Seekins Element 6.5cm - Optic?

I’ve only looked through FFP a few times and have always hunted with F2, so that’s the way I’m leaning. Most of my hunts will be within 150-200 yards but I like the idea of higher magnification to shoot on a buddy’s 1,000 yard range. Would you recommend FFP over F2? I guess my concern is not...

    Seekins Element 6.5cm - Optic?

Any other opinions? Also, are all “like new / demo” NF optics created equal? As in, do certain retailers tend to have a more pristine handled product than others? Thanks again.

    Seekins Element 6.5cm - Optic?

Hi guys, First time creating a thread, so if I butcher this, that’s why… anyway, I purchased a Seekins Element in 6.5cm recently (after a decade of tirelessly toting a 10-12 lb Savage .308 around in SC) and am now trying to determine what glass to put on this lightweight rifle. I currently live...

    Ultralight hunting rifle

You say you only shoot deer at 15 yards with a 30-06 (I believe you said 40-50 yards in a previous post), yet you’re unwilling to consider a .308 in place of the 30-06? I have shot many deer with a Remington 742 from 50-120 yards and haven’t had one run on me. If a .308 can’t do it at that...

    Ultralight hunting rifle

Nothing worse than going to a shooting range with a bunch of dudes unsuppressed.

    Ultralight hunting rifle

I completely agree. A can mitigates recoil, saves your hearing, and makes for a far more pleasant time at the range. Not to mention, I’ve shot deer with other deer standing around, and sometimes they just stand there after a shot.

    Western hunting rifle: Seekins Element?

My experience has always been that suppressing anything is a better proposition than not… that said, I’m considering the Seekins Element in 6.5cm and curious if putting a suppressor on the end will greatly alter the balance of the rifle given the lightweight. Anyone have any experience? I use a...

Rifle Setup: Christensen Ridgeline vs. Seekins PH2

I agree with all points made, but … it’s SO light! Anyway, I’ll deal with my own demons 😤 haha Also, this has turned into a very informative thread on optics. I didn’t realize some of the reputations a few of these companies apparently have. Glad you like that CA.

Rifle Setup: Christensen Ridgeline vs. Seekins PH2

First post, just joined to comment as I’m in the same debacle… curious, did you consider the Seekins HAVAK Element? Costs more, but it sounds like you won’t find a lighter factory rifle.
