I've been wearing FL uncom puffy pants bowhunting the past few years with no problem. You can try a thin fleece or merino layer over your puffy jacket.
I wore the sawbucks last season for pheasant/deer hunting in IL and they held up great. Only thing I dont like is my legs get wet on the damp mornings but they dry out quickly.
Looking to sell or trade my 2018 Mathews Halon X. Lost XD camo with 60 lb limbs. Currently has 29 mods installed and will also included 29 1/2 mods. Strings are in good shape. There a few scuffs around the grip.
Looking to get $425 TYD or trade for 33-37 ata bow with either 60 or 70 lb limbs...
I hunt from a saddle so it's similar style to the RC harness.
I got my rope from doublesteps.com He has a good selection for mobile hunting gear. I watched youtube videos for tying the knots
For layering up top I really like merino base and then the klamath with a puffy vest. I also dont like a lot of hoods so I only have a hood on my baselayer(wick hoody).
Sawtooth would also be a great option
I saddle hunted all last year and used 3 cut down hawk heliums with knaider and swaider. I tried wild edge steps but never really like them, not enough space to get both of my feet comfortable while setting the next step.
