Last time the NDP were in they had BC headed in a downward spiral. Looks like this NDP government intends to do the same.
Last time the NDP closed the grizz hunt the Liberals opened it up when they got back into power.....hopefully history repeats itself.
A few years ago I shot a bull moose at 438 yards with a 140 TSX @ 3130fps from a 280 Ackley. While the bull (5 points each side) wasn't as big as some of the northern monsters, I'm sure the 150 TSX (or TTSX)will work for you if put through the boiler room:). I've no experience with A Frames...
Thanks for the review Josh!
I can personally attest to the Black Diamond flapping in the wind. Check out hte rocks needed to hold the 8" Y stakes in the weak mountain soils.....

I'm 6'4" and the Black Diamond Mega Lite is just long enough when pitched to the ground, and extra room when pitched 3-4" off the ground. It weighs 2lbs with 8 "Y" pegs (using trekking poles for centre pole). It would have more usable space if it had mid-panel guyouts.
Another floorless model...

I'm 6'4" 235lbs. Originally I ordered a long wide Revelation from EE. After 5 min on the livingroom floor it was boxed up and ready for return. Now i have a long, extra wide and it's great. As others stated, my advise to anyone getting a quilt is go wide!
Just got a pair from Cameralandny last week. Only compared them side by side to my 14 yr old Baush and Lomb 10x42 Discovery. To my eyes the Mojave is only a tiny bit sharper in the center of the view, but the edge to edge clarity is better. The Mojaves are also brighter with more vivid...
Personally I would go with the viper hd combo of bino/spotter. Then you have one of each. While you are saving up to upgrade you will be using both hunting and can decide which to upgrade first (if at all, you might find them adequate). With Vortex's warranty the used market seems pretty...
Nice looking shelter. Similar weight as the mountain smith LT (with pegs and guy-outs included), but slightly bigger footprint, two doors, and options for a nest...
