    For me in cold weather, 3 hoods max - mid, insulation, and shell. Warmer weather I like having a hood on the base layer to keep the sun off my face a little as that may be the only layer I'm wearing.

    I always have a set of the shoulder length cleaning gloves and some Nitrile Ravens in my pocket. Long ones go on first, with the ravens over the top. I'm good to go at least elbow deep. Takes two seconds to remove them, keeps my hands and clothing clean.

    Not trying to beat a dead horse here, but I think most airlines use the standard 18X14X8 size as the personal item dimension. I like the Kuiu Divide 1200 for the purpose. It's just a tad long at 18.75, but no one has given me any flak yet.

    Depends on the bino. Usually the small is a good fit for the 10x42 binos. Med fits bigger 10x like the Kowa genesis and Razor UHD's, and most 50mm binos.
