Me and wife do it every year until the Harrisburg PA outdoor show in Feb. Also do a low carb diet at the same time. After the first week I don't find it to hard, but days like today where I work really hard, I sure do miss a few cold ones.
I'd estimate it's 5 years old with around 100 shots on it. Glass is perfect and the only marks on it are the ring marks. It was installed on lapped rings and properly torqued.
$1050.00 TYD.
Like the title says I'm looking for some suggestion for a medium height ring mount for this with a 1" tube. Does need to be matte black and going on a magnum.
Butchering a bear with the intentions of making balogna, how worried are you about removing fat? It seems most say trim every last peice off because it has bad flavor, but others say it's great so don't worryto much about getting everylast piece. What's the RS community say?
I think our personal taste for these change with time. I used to love Beef Stew but the last one was really bland and the meat texture was pretty bad. This came from the same case I bought years before anything changed so it was likely the same lot.
I do 2 boils with Dawn and oxyclean. The first one gets the worst off then I change the water and repeat. Then pressurewash. Then lots of 40 volume peroxide gel wrapped in plastic for a day or two. The warmer it is the faster the peroxide works. Those and a 6 pack has been my go to for years.
