    Even 257 Roberts would be better than 243. Very mild recoil, good ballistics, a good fit for antelope-deer sized game.

    Montrose is less "deserty" than GJ. Also Paonia, Bayfield, Cortez, Newcastle, No hiding my bias for the Best Slope, even though I live in COS now.

    Grand Junction area is much less populated than any Front Range city, w nice climate, fast access to hunting/fishing/hiking/biking/rivers. Real estate costs much less there than in Den/FtC/COS area. Grand Mesa, CO Nat'l Monument, Powderhorn ski area, Colorado and Gunnison rivers, Glade Park unit...

    For you young'uns, CO was blue before it was red. Remember the '76 nonOlympics. WY gets more than 50% of its state revenue from coal and drilling. As coal ends, they will have to ask residents to pay the difference. Or shrink the size of state gov't;)
