    Kimber Mountain ascent 300wm

That is surprising and good to hear! How has shooting the light rifle been out of field positions? That's been my area of focus this year. Right now I shoot a 6.5 that weighs 8.8lbs.

    Kimber Mountain ascent 300wm

How is the Kimber working for you @Bankbum? How is the recoil on such a light rifle? I ran across a deal on the same 300 win mag mountain ascent tonight.

    BWCAW info/ideas

I've use Pac Sac when I've gone through Ely and Seagull Outfitters when going through the gunflint, both offer showers at the end of the trip too. I would recommend renting the three person Kevlar canoes if you really want to cover ground. We're able to cover 15+ miles in half a day leaving...

Pop up blind for rifle white tail hunting advice

I have a Herters blind that I got at Cabela's and it works great. My dad bought an HME and it is awful to setup, the blind tangles on itself easily and doesn't have the mesh windows like other popup blinds.

Any Reviews of the Tarptent Motrail?

I bought the Motrail this spring. The tent packs down well, and actually fits in the stuff sack. The built in bugnet to the bathtub floor was great on summer nights in BWCA. Didn't have any issues with mosquitoes. Depending on how you pitch the tent it can be a bit breezy, so using more than 5...

    First Lite Sanctuary Durability

Just got a pair of Sanctuary bibs in the mail. Is it normal for the pants to make a swooshing sound when you walk or move in them?

    Wyoming unit 20 doe’s help

Sounds like an awesome combo hunt! I hunted east of 20 a few weeks ago. We saw a lot of antelope on private and were able to fill our doe tags mid morning as they moved off the private onto public. It seemed like everyone we talked to was deer hunting and some were forthright on antelope had...

Companies with Best Warranty & Customer Service?

Vortex has a great warranty and customer service. When I called them about my binos I was able to tell them when I'd be going on my hunt and they were able to get them back to me in time. Had a two week turnaround in early September!

    Help with my gear list

I would add new insoles to the Lowa boots. I added the Superfeet Green insoles and they added a lot more support and comfort after a long break in period. I would also add an additional headlamp or flashlight between you and your partner. We had one break on us this past fall and it was nice to...

It took me a couple tries, but I was able to purchase points. In all it took less than 30 minutes.
