Start with a good R value on your sleeping PAD and after that you can get a liner or add down boots or pants,most of the time when I get cold it was a bad sleeping pad choice.

Seekoutside 6 or 8 man tipi with liners,wood stove and winter gear take some place.You can also use a 6 man and put some gear outside under a tarp but 8 man sounds more realistic,I strongly suggesting the liners.

I just bought a 0F down bag from outdoor vitals,suppose to arrive next week, can't wait to try this bag...first down bag ever,always been with synthetic but always been cold so it's a big step for me...I'll keep updating.

I use a long metal meter and hot knife(electric)to cut straight or a really sharp knife.
I use a fabric pensil,sounds weird but I found it perform better by licking it before making my marks lol...god that's sounds weird.It works great with silnylon and cordura fabric.

If you want peace of mind and easier assembly just go with the standard box stove from seekoutside,I have use a lot of stoves and the seekoutside is the best design in my opinion.Cylinder stoves sucks don't waste your money on it.
