I have to echo what the others have said I have the unlined version and wore them on a job in savanna Georgia in October and they were great. When it’s cold not so great but I’m sure the right base layers and they would be fine or the lined version. Great value for the money.
It’s like yeti being called anti gun because they don’t give the nra free shit. That got blown all out of proportion. I’m not sure how I really feel about the nra anymore they don’t seem to be doing shit but getting rich off us hard working folks.
I have the ilbe and have thought about upgrading the belt because I don’t have any ass and it loosens up andslides down a bit and never feels anchored. With 20-30 pounds it isok but overthat is when I don’t like it
Has anyone used the makenzie mountain parka (I think that’s the name) from midway USA? It’s event withlike 200 grams of primaloft. I have been thinking about a good parka for whitetail hunting in the fridged cold of northern Michigan and it would be nice to not have so many layers but just a...
I don’t western hunt but dosit for long periods in northern Michigan andi like to also bring a chunk of foam or carpet to put under my feet. I truck camp so I am bring extra shit.
I was thinking about buying one of those orange pack vest style ones. I think alps,ll bean, tenzing Cabela’s all have them but I don’t know if it would really be worth it. The one I have now fits over all my layers and even in warm weather it’s not bad. It only has 1 buckle andthatseems to...
I’m a metal worker and if possible I would use snipers because they are quiet(don’t need ear plugs) also I would feel if it’s laid out flat snips would give a nice line then just use some wood and a hammer to smooth out the cuts. A cut off wheel may be easier if the pipe is round and not flat...
And if the pack is lost or destroyed it is a reason to buy another one. I know they are expensive but let’s face it we are all gear junkies and any chance to get more is a awesome.
I have been curious of the kryptek wind waterproof fleece. I have so many fricking layering jackets i would never bear the end of it if my wife found another one. Lol.
Attacks feel small to me a 36 attack fit good I’m usually a 34 in everything. My only comparison is the alpines which a 34 fits great with room to layer but a 34 attack I can’t layer under and it is a bit tight.
Last year was the first time I wore gators and i liked them. I hunt in northern Michigan and it was wet and snowy and they kept my lower pants dry and by doing that it kept the top of my socks dry which in turn helps keep the water from wicking down the socks making the inside of the boots wet...
I don’t see what the difference is between a discount website and a clearance sale from a regular website. I was looking at getting some kryptek gear but I think I’ll look elsewhere. I work hard for my money and would be pissed if a company wouldn’t honor its warranty because of where I bought...
