Ive had a set of cabelas legacy fleece with windshear for about 15 years and its about worn out. Of course it’s discontinued now. Looking for something about like it. I have plenty of kuiu and sitka but still prefer regular fleece for whitetail bow hunting. Everything cabelas sells now has a shiny shell exterior instead of fleece exterior. The wooltimate is close but a little heavier than im looking for. Any suggestions?

I feel your pain. I tried to order a new legacy fleece jacket last fall and they changed the cut. It was way too small in the arms. Then they stopped selling it completely after that time. It was one of the best pieces of hunting clothing made regardless of price IMO.

Well crap! That's probably my favorite line of cabelas gear too. I replaced my first legacy fleece jacket a few years ago and I also have a vest. I really like camo fleece for coyote hunting. The fuzzyness just seems to make you blend in better. Guess I'd better keep track of the suggestions here.

Not sure what type of garmet you’re looking for but wind shear would tell me a jacket.

Being Bass Pro bought out Cabelas I think I what’s happening is a transitional phase where Cabelas will be rebranding hunting clothes originally made by Red Head ( Bass Pro) brands.

I have a local Bass Pro and no Cabelas. I bought 2 awesome “Windproof” fleece jackets from bass pro that I’d never give up on. They work cutting wind and with something that creates warmth underneath, I’m golden ! I normally wear a base layer and a mid layer under these jackets and I’m solid.

I’m sure Cabelas will be incorporating them as soon as their already purchased goods cycle out.

Check out Bass Pro wind proof fleece jackets. Soon will say Cabelas.

I have been curious of the kryptek wind waterproof fleece. I have so many fricking layering jackets i would never bear the end of it if my wife found another one. Lol.

I have no experience with it but have always been curious of the Natural Gear winter ceptor stuff. It's fleece and I believe windproof. Haven't bought and because I'm leary of windproof clothing, even if fleece. Some don't have much give or stretch and can be a bit noisy.

I have been wearing it for years and it is freaking awesome, esp for the price. It is my late season go too for bowhunting and duck hunting.

Ebay is your best bet.
