I totally agree. The ability of some of these employees one encounters these days is mind blowing. How they ever were able to get themselves out of bed and into work was a feat in of itself.
Kind of need to identify the pests. Some rodents do not have the ability to expel gastric gases (fart) and a mixture of 50% baking soda, 25% cocoa powder like you make hot chocolate with and 25% powdered sugar. They I get it and the baking soda off-gases and those guys expose. Works gray in my shop.

Not a problem here in Alabama “yet”. Seems like I could easily make their stay very uncomfortable (weird stuff happening late at night, pit bulls from the animal shelter showing up, maybe some rats or a gator…) and they would gladly move on.
I live in Alabama and had good luck with a makeshift harness and pull a sled loaded with about 250# of feed. It pulls easy on grass, difficult on rocky creek crossing.
