CSS and their involvement with the Rompola Buck is pretty good folklore. Well before my time but the owner has done some podcast recently and it’s cool to see some of the old CSS bows with wood grips. -

What I believe he’s trying to say is guys willingly choose to use mechanicals to avoid BH tune or if you buy a tuned bow new over time the tune will fall out hence why mechanicals are popular. -

Bill is an interesting guy. He made a comment that he basically insinuated mechanicals hide tuning flaws or mask out of tune bows. After listening to this it really makes sense why the industry standard are blazer vanes and mechanicals. The two best items to hide an out of tune bow. I’m curious... -

My current whitetail bow is a V3 27. I love the bow but I’ve only never shot it past 40 yards. I’m going to do TAC Big Sky next year with some work buddies. My question is has anyone done TAC with a V3 27 or VXR 28, how was it? Any regrets? I know I can start extended my ranges to practice but... -
