Headed to Colorado for second season in a few weeks. We are planning on setting up a basecamp but may also spike out if we get into some animals and don't want to trek back to camp. I'm planning on bringing a heavy 0-degree bag for basecamp and I have a 15-degree Feathered Friends bag that is...
Picked up the Pnuma Element rain jacket and pants on Camofire the other day and they came in yesterday. Tried them on and these seem legit. Surprisingly warm but the ability to ventilate, which will be great for mid-late season hunts. Quality appears to be top notch and way better than my...
Bought this last year but don’t really have a need for it in my clothing systems right now. Has only been worn to try on. Size XL
$125 TYD.

I said the same thing before I bought it, but it is super easy. Use a wrap, it's more forgiving that fletching directly to the arrow, plus it makes it a heck of a lot easier to repair or re-fletch the arrows. Pull wrap, put new one on and start fletching.
I used to want a heavy helical but...
It's pricey but I like my vane master pro fletching jig. Q2i Vanes are the easiest vane I have ever fletched. No prep necessary when using a wrap. Glue, loctite ultra control super gel. Grey bottle, blue cap.
I don't mind the cold, especially if I am moving. It's when I am stationary for extended periods that can be the issue. So, I was thinking rain jacket may be the ticket. I'd layer First Lite Wick Crew, Kuiu Pro Merino 200, Kuiu Peloton 97 or Stongfleece 280 if moving. Then add Kings Camo...
We're going to set up a truck camp as base camp. However, we will spike out for a few days if we get into some animals and go back to the camp as needed.
I need to add an outer layer to my clothing system. I think I am pretty set on my base layer, mid-layers, and insulation layer. However, I am lacking in an outer layer. I have a cheaper set of Badlands rain gear that is fine for deer hunting but looking for something better. I initially was...
I recently purchase a Browning X-Bolt .223 that has 1/8 twist and an 18” barrel. Everything I’m reading is that the 1/8 twist prefers a heavier bullet. Is 55 grain factory ammo going to be too light for this rifle? If so, what factory ammo do you recommend since I don’t reload my own.

Well stopped by the nearest shop that has a Silencershop kiosk. Now I have a Silencerco Harvester Evo in ATF jail. Now the waiting game for the silencershop docusign form and the ATF. Was told it could be up to a 9 month sentence.
