I ran 38x15.5 and 37x13.5 Toyo MT on my last F250, both lasted really long and did decent offroad, they're just too expensive now and I heard they're under new ownership, not sure if that is true as I haven't looked into it yet.
The truck I inherited had Cooper stt tires and they were very good...
So much for that old saying, "200k is all a vehicle can last"
I'm actually very surprised how many roksliders are running such high mileage. Hunting gear is expensive and hey, priorities. 😁
Interesting turn of events today while at work, I had asked my old man to go look at a truck for me near his house, and he offered to hand me down his for free. It has something like 200-230k on it but been in the family since 60k or so miles.
Guess we'll see if I can make the old girl last at...
Okay so is this interesting. I've had 3 v10 trucks and all 200-280k when sold, and my dad has his still with 230k. None had any issues except the plugs, which isn't that drastic. All ran very strong when sold.
I've been truck shopping like crazy lately for a cash in hand truck to get me by for...
Just curious your experience. What vehicle, use, ect. Major repairs?
I really feel like 200k in today's gas engines are not as bad as the older tech and engine, and 300k+ is realistic if maint.
Most likely will be near Ponderay, possibly St Maries area. I haven't duck hunted since 2004, dying to dive back in. I'm not the type to shoot then look, I just enjoy the experience. I'll find a book this weekend and start studying 👍
I don't want to hijack the man's thread though.
Well I have to be nice on this forum with NR so I'll just say, it's very bad up North and possibly dangerous to go out rn. Could get stuck in a flash fire, but Priest lake and the selkirks are very bad rn.
