    Cap pack or decked system?

Thanks guys, I wish I could get my hands on both to compare them. My father in law had a decked in his f150 when he bought it but took it out and sold it almost immediately so I never really messed with it. I have been leaning towards the cap pack and will probably go that route just not a lot...

    Cap pack or decked system?

That would be perfect, I wasn’t seeing that dimension on the cap pack site.

    Cap pack or decked system?

I do like it is overhead and the videos I have watched make it look easy to remove and keep the frame installed. Would you be able to measure how tall the cap pack is sndmn11? If I go that route I might get the 50” version since my canopy has the fold down window but I still need to measure...

    Cap pack or decked system?

This is another option and way less than the decked even with lumber prices. One thing I like about building my own is I can make it a little shorter than the 12” that the decked storage is to keep more room for gear.

    Cap pack or decked system?

With having access to a few different trailers now I decided to keep the canopy on my F350 full time. I would like to add some sort of organization to the bed and have been looking at the decked system and the cap pack or leer locker. What do you think if you have one of these systems...

    How’s your fuel prices

I’m surprised at some of these prices considering last time I looked Wa had one of the highest gas taxes and people are posting comparable prices in places I would think cost would be way less. Anyway I just filled up, diesel on one side of town was 4.45 and 4.89 on the other, luckily with the...

    Vasectomy

They used some air injection thing to numb it and it was uncomfortable like it you pinched your sack but not bad, sounded like opening a pop can which was weird. I asked why they don’t use it more and they said the children’s hospital does it too since it’s not a needle.

    Vasectomy

I had mine a few weeks ago, they did not put me under and just a local but couldn’t feel anything. definitely listen when they tell you to take Advil and not do anything. We have a 2 month old and a 3 year old and I have been home on leave but over did it and I was pretty sore for about 7 days...

Gear Closet for Shop- What do you use…

I did the top so I can work on the bow and rifles there too. I still need to run some power over there. I have a bench to the right where I’m taking the picture that is for working on wood and metal projects and wanted to separate that work from hunting work.

Gear Closet for Shop- What do you use…

Mine are not in a wardrobe but I got some lower cabinets and an upper for free that I put up in the garage, I also got a wire shelf that was removed from a job and hung that up as well. I use the upper for most my clothes but still have some pants and coats hanging on the wire shelf. The...

Any one use a Subaru as a hunting buggy

I was looking at putting a lift on my 04 forester but with 290k and leaking and burning oil it wasn’t worth the cost to fix when it blew a wheel bearing and took out everything in the right front so I scrapped it. I used it for a daily driver and on some hunts but mainly just logging roads. It...

    Concrete finish?

I have a stamped concrete back patio and the front walkway and it is dangerous with any moisture. I used the gator grip and resealed, which helped a little bit but it is still slick. I was going to use the gator grip 1 more time and seal the concrete but throw the gator grip out like you would...

    Will Vehicle Prices Ever Decrease?

I’m hoping the prices come down since I was hoping to pick one up this year , I noticed too that lots are full around my area as well. Hopefully with all the inventory and people realizing campers are not for them I can pick one up for a good deal.

    Everyone’s favorite Carhartt alternative?

A few years ago I switched to Duluth and I like the fit better than the carhartts I use to wear before that model was discontinued. I recently picked up 2 pairs of the true work pants too and they are comfortable and remind me of the first lite guide pants but they are not the most durable...

2008 FJ Cruiser - Pull the Trigger?

A truck for truck oil changes or any under the vehicle is use a gallon zip lock bag that way it catches the oil and you don’t get covered. I do this on my trucks and it’s nice to not get diesel oil all over the floor or my arm.

Travel Trailer Size Experiences & Recommendations?

I see a lot of love for outdoors rv and was looking at the 21bh or 23bh but being my first trailer I keep having a hard time pulling the trigger. Has anyone here had experience with the baja/off-road jayco trailers? You can pick them up for quite a bit less than the outdoors rv models. I was...

Tikka - to bottom metal or not to bottom metal? That is my question.

I went with the mountain tactical a few years ago and haven’t had a problem with it. I got it when I had my barrel and action cerakoted and was going to have the bottom metal done but never took it in.

    Tent Pole Repair

I think that is the company REI recommended when the shock cord was no good on my REI half dome after 10 years and they replaced all the cord and replaced 1 section for a good price. I used them a few years ago but definitely good service and a quick turn around but I am also only a few hours...
