30-06 Accuracy Loads???
Before going out hunting this season, took, my load to the range. Fired a single shot at 200 yards. POI was 1" low of POA. No rear rest, front rest was using my folding chair. So still 0.5 MOA. -
If you had to start over....
Probably would have skipped the Lee classic loader and got a press. I would have kept the Lee press for decapping. Would go straight for Redding Die Wax. Would have started with new, quality brass. -
Hornady CX experiences?
Any updates from anyone using CXs? Thinking about trying some 150s in 7-08 and 80s in 243. -

That is worth checking as well. Try just seating one is a sized case and then try and push it in by hand, or tapping it on the bench, and if you have a kinetic puller, see how many whacks it takes to get it out. I’ve seen a lot of posts saying if neck tension is good crimp is not necessary. The way you’re describing it sounds like it might be too much. It should barely be visible. If it’s too heavy of a crimp, could be getting more pressure than expected. That could account for the discrepancy in... -

I'm still curious how you got 120gr .284 SSTs. I don't see them as an option anywhere. Did you get them as pulls? On the reduced loads, it looks like the MV on the Hornady ammo is 2,676. IMR 3031 would be my top choice for replicating it. High burn rate, high velocity compared to PSI, and... -

Just want to check something here @Luked. I don’t see a .284 120gr SST in the Hornady app. The two projectiles they have are not the SST. If that is where you’re finding that book measurement of 2.700, then I’m guessing it is for a different projectile than the SST. The load data for those... -
