Pretty limited in the lower 48. I’ve hunted over bait in Minnesota and Idaho. Minnesota is a fall season.
Hunted Wyoming bear, but there’s a lot of hoops to jump through for a DIY hunt.
That’s about all I can give ya, other than, I’m headed to Saskatchewan in May for my bear hunt this year.
Always thought more poundage was a good thing. Used to shot about 89 pounds. Last few years it’s been 70. This spring I realized that a few years ago I shot best with a 65 bow maxed out. Dropped both bows to 66 and back to shooting better.
With age comes wisdom.
She finally graduated last year at 32 with a doctorate in CRNA.
Moved her a total of 11 times from Champaign to Indy to Chicago to Houston to St Louis.
She is a great girl.
We finally had our family Christmas on Sunday and my youngest daughter surprised me with a Saskatchewan bear hunt in May.
Been putting in a lot of hours working on her house and she wanted to repay me. Told her it was too much, but she said enjoy, I’d earned it.
