Arizona 5B South Archery Elk
I was there 16 days last year and only ran into a couple hunters while working a bull. Bulls bugled all 16 days and had no problem getting on elk. The last 5 days of the season the woods will be empty... most tag holders only hunt the weekends. You'll have a great hunt. Ed F -

Unit 22 is next to Phoenix... there's 6 million people in the Phoenix valley... there's a reason for the low success. The higher elevation units are supposed to get a considerable amount of snow next week... something else to consider when making your decision. Ed F -

You are guessing at everything... history has shown in other states that went to all draw, it may be 3 points this year but will gradually increase every year. Kaibab archery took 1 point when it started... If it's really about the animals the gun hunts would drastically be cut back. Be careful... -

Ok... our definition of way better are two different things... and that's OK. If you are good with waiting 2, 3. 7, 8 (3ac) years to bowhunt deer in AZ and see less hunters, that's fine, I am not. The argument that there will be more and bigger deer doesn't hold water unless they really limit...
