Hey y’all probably a question more directed for locals but if anyone knows!
I’m looking for an air taxi rather than a transporter.Ive been on a transporter caribou drop camp previously. I would love to do caribou hunt every year but having a hard time justifying 5k plus per person for a hour...
Ya I think so he was a real prick! I didn’t know anything about the crashes!! That makes me really glad we didn’t go that route!
We decided on a drop hunt from Bruce with Alaska Pike Safari out of Holy Cross. Pretty stoked for that!
Thorofare is a commercialized outfitters hangout with a few good bulls taken. 10 years late on that hunt imo. Lots of public land, DIY hunts that are way better than that with a little research… Or spend 15k for a landowner tag in NM!
Yep! In MT they have been stealing heads out of trucks and selling them to horn buyers. It’s pretty sad you can no longer leave game in your truck without a chain around it
Just got mine and really like how fast it is, and actually puts a good lens cover on my spotter! Having problems with the vignette…. Probably just need to practice a little more
Thanks for the info. I’ve talked with several on this list, and would definitely agree on the Tok Air dude. His attitude was a hard pass for me in the first 3 minutes!
Thanks for the write up! I have this hunt booked next year with Ram. Curious if you used and rented their camp or if you flew your own gear up? Trying to decide what the best route to go on that part
