Have one The Mountain Project - "Die with Memories, not dreams" sticker on my 60 series land cruiser, nothing on my "work" truck. The same cannot be said for all my coolers and garage storage. That's where all the stickers go.
But, I've been thinking about something similar to this lately...
For a first archery elk… probably passing the cow on the first day, but probably not day 2 or thereafter. And definitely wouldn’t pass a raghorn on the opening 15 minutes. But as everybody has said, if it scratches the itch in the moment, let one fly.
Looking to change colors. No harness included. Marsupial Gear Enclosed, Medium-size bino chest pack in Ranger Green. Will come with Large Zippered Pouch in Ranger Green as well.
The only harness I have is Blaze Orange. Keeping that with my orange bino harness.
$100 for both shipped. $80 shipped
Got another one. Having a side conversation with my wife about the house she lived in when we met. My daughter being ever the observer, asked about the house I lived in when I met her mother. When I stated that I didn't live in a house, but before I could state that I lived in an apartment, my...
I would fish out of Cozumel or Roatan over Belize City (in the City I would stay on the boat as others have stated). If you were stopping in Ambergris Caye, there is some good bonefishing there, very few big ones, but lots of fish.
Roatan has more bonefish in the 5-9lb range and I caught 14...
I like stupid cheap EDC knives and Magnacut field knives. Currently have two MKC’s in Magnacut.
This Day Six Dragonfly is a very interesting design. Looking forward to reviews on ease of switching blade to blade.
Everything that Mojave said. This will be my 10th year applying in Texas, I drew one NWR tag in 2021 and ended up not being able to hunt that tag. I haven’t drawn much of shit anywhere this year, so I’ll be pretty aggressive in TX this year.
I killed my early December Coues buck (2017) at 6700-ft in the middle of a snow fall. I would start at the top and work your way day. But Coues could and will be basically top to bottom. If you get lucky enough to get some snow up high, the deer were all bailing off the mountain during my hunt.
Have yet to draw anything in the secondary draw over the last 7 years, or however long. Somebody has to get a tag, with the luck I had in the draws this year it definitely won't be me.
This is why I like "motels". Easier to unload all my crap to my room when I can park at the door.
Tonneau Covers are nice too for hiding bigger gear. Not impossible to get into for somebody dedicated to stealing shit, but keeps things out of sight, so most people that might just grab something...
I have been using the Oben CT-2491 for the last few years. More than stout enough for shooting off of. Weighs about 3.5lbs without a head. For shooting I added a Davros head and Outdoorsman's Quick Detach swivel base for switching back and forth between the Davros on my pistol grip.
I just...
They get that species distribution filter directly from Colorado Parks and Wildlife. You are likely looking at areas with more migratory herds that may move out of the unit entirely when weather hits. Turn on the migration corridors and that should tell you where they leave head to.
Waiting on the rifle draw. I know it says posted July 5th, but hoping they come out before the CO Secondary Draw is due, though I have yet to ever get anything on that draw either, so not sure why I bother.
Already bought a Seek Outside Courthouse and another Montana Knife Company in magnacut. Only other thing I can think to get is to load up on some meals. Thinking of trying out a few different ones, i.e. Gastrognome, etc.
