You might look at charter boat based hunts in Prince William Sound or southeast during spring. Or hike into the Kenai mountains in fall if you are in shape for it.

We went 1 for 3 in Saskatchewan. Hot weather made it tough. Saw lots of bears, just no big ones. Had some great bear behavior around the baits. Buddy did get a nice color phase. Fishing was good.

Certainly we should all be asking these questions of our own selves for our own behaviors. My issue is with people who feel like they should be able to dictate their subjective value-based judgements on me where they disagree (obviously within the bounds of legality). Play your own game.

Not a fan. Strikes me as the height of selfish arrogance and disrespect to be telling people I don’t like the way you hunt or why you hunt and you need to change because I know better and my way is the right way.
