Southwest wyoming ran into a double whammy of cold and snow, but also a lack of wind to blow the snow off of ridges and expose forage for the deer and antelope.
I'm looking at getting a Seekins PH2 in 7mm rem mag. Scoped with a bipod it looks to be around 9.7lbs. What weights are you guys seeing with other seekins ready to hunt, and is almost 10lbs too much?

-Razor LHT 3-15x42
-Atlas Bipod
-Not sure on rings
I know several outfitters in the yellowstone border region that run fences around their entire camps. You can hear the bears when they hit the fence. They work, but the sound of a bear squealing as it runs back into the woods will keep you up at night as much as anything else.
Take a look at meindl. I'm on my second pair in 10+ years and have never had a blister or any durability issues. I got my last pair too close to the stove and they melted or else I'd still be running them.
