    My lab got it at 6 years old. We didn’t do treatment and she made it 4 months until she was in pain just laying there so we put her down. Vet said they’re starting to find a link between puppy spaying and the cancer.

    I’m 0fer a dozen or so. Had one bedded at 20 yards once but couldn’t see him so I had this great idea to make a little fawn noise to see if he would look around or whatever, you ever people say they run 20 yards and stop? He didn’t do that.

    Last time I did that the attendant put up cones behind my truck. Not sure what they did after I left but there was mud on the walls. Obviously I don’t think your buddy did anything wrong

    There’s no blm around there and you’re either in coconino National Forest or Prescott National Forest both are still in stage 1 fire restrictions. It sucks

    Forests are all closed atm for target shooting. Sedona has some great hiking trails. Probably worth your time to head up to flagstaff or happy jack to see that we have forests. The drive up to flagstaff from Sedona is nice. Old cherry road from camp verde to dewey is nice and not terribly rough

    I don’t hunt for food either. I hunt for sport. As an adult onset hunter who came to big game via predator hunting I used to try to justify hunting, to myself mostly, as an experience or something, finally gave up and realized I hunt for the sport of it and I’m comfortable with that

    I don’t get too stressed out but I’m in month 3 of 70-80 hour work weeks so I’m getting more worn out then stressed

    Best caliber for fur?

    I use 204 with 40 gr vmax. I’ve heard of some people using fmj so you just end up with two little holes but I imagine you get some runners like that

    Why no love for the Ruger Hawkeye?

    I have one in 204 that I use as a coyote gun. Very accurate don’t mind humping it around stand to stand. Nice gun but not what I would take out elk or deer hunting because of the weight
