I'm 5'5" and 175. 33" waist. I got the larger Fanatic jacket and the Medium Bibs. They both fit fine. Under the jacket depending upon temps I'm still able to layer underneath.
I'd like to see the Whitetail line in Subalpine also. Also would like an lightly insulated version of the Timberlines with side vents. Something along the lines of Stone Glaciers M7 pant. Basically a fleece backing in the Timberline for just a bit more warmth.
I'm glad I went up a half size. Gives me room to play with socks also depending upon temps. I can wear regular thin socks and not flop around in the boot and if temps dip I can wear heavier socks and not be cramped up either. Love the boots!
I had read on a couple of the reviews to get a half size large than normal with the Beartooth's. Glad I did. Actually I think I had also read that from a Schnee's employee.
I have a pair of the Crispi West Rivers and a pair of the Beartooth's. My West Rivers are a size 8 1/2 and the Beartooths are 9's. They fit exactly the same surprisingly. So far main reason I'm wearing one over the other is weather and how cold it is. It does feel like the Crispi's are wider...
Pretty much the same question. However, with a bit of a twist. 1st I haven't shot the 180gr Accubond yet. Today at the range I was shooting the 200gr Terminal Ascent and the 165gr Trophy Bonded. The Terminal Ascent group came in at .84" and the 165gr TBT came in at .300" As of now I'm...
I've been shooting the NX8 4x32 for about 6-7 months now. I really like the scope except for the tight eye box when the magnification is dialed up. However, with that being said where I hunt I'm not dialing the scope up to 32x. Typically at the ranges I'll be hunting I can comfortably keep the...
I probably spend 30+ days hunting. Start with dove beginning of Sept. and deer hunt from then until the end of Dec. I'm in the woods every weekend almost. The hunt every weekend of turkey season.
I've been using the TC1500 for a couple of years also and really like it. It carries all that I need and I can also strap down heavy clothes on the outside for the trip into and out of my stand. My Son needed a day pack last year so I got him one also.
I've been in the mortgage business for 28 years now. These are the lowest rates have been since I have been in the business. If you are purchasing for long term then definitely buy. The same if you can get a home below market value. You will have built in equity. Even if the market pulls back a...
I've been turkey hunting for years and they are not easy birds to kill. Now, I've seen them do some pretty stupid things before and at the same time they have been a royal pain to outsmart. They have great eye sight and hearing. I've told a lot of people that if they had the sense of smell like...
