I've got 3 pounds of brand new H4350 I'd like to trade for H1000. I'll also throw in a sleeve of large rifle or 2 sleeves of large pistol. N. Idaho/NE WA area.
Very low density. High predation. Extremely thick vegetation. I live in the area and know all the spots, but still go South. Unbelievable how much better the hunting is further South. This is totally straight shooting advice.
I think you missed the point, or maybe I expressed myself badly. I hate them because they are so overprotected, and we can't hunt them. I have been hunting, hiking, and camping in Grizzly infested country for over 30 years too. If they weren't so overprotected, they'd have a healthier fear of...
If they would relocate them to California cities it would help with the homeless issue...
Honestly, I hate them so very much. Hate having such a dangerous predator out there with so much protection. Would be so much better if they were hunted, and it wasn't like shooting a person if you do...
These are not even broke in yet. Nothing better than a leather lined boot. Size 10 M made in Italy. Terrific shape, and a great boot. I thought I could get away without an EE width because the Alico run a little wider than some brands, but it's just a touch narrow for my foot. $100 TYD...
"Had we been aware that some hunters in Idaho jump at the chance to take hides from non-trophy bears they did not harvest, we would have stuck it out later."
This is the part of your post that makes me think it's two different bears. Most North Idaho hunters wouldn't bother messing with...
My guess is that it actually wasn't your bear, but a second bear killed by someone else. I've seen many different bears at the same time and on a single hillside in North Idaho. Either way, there'd be nothing to fuss at all how could someone else have known you were returning? Especially if...
That's a terrific story, and what an amazing bull for his first one! Any bull with a bow is a trophy for sure, but I'm hoping to finally kill the big one that's always escaped. I have called in 3 over 340" for friends, but have never quite done it myself. This could be the year! 🤞
I do believe you're confusing "high hopes" with expectations. I have high hopes, because I've been killing elk with a bow since 1999, and we're fresh off a hunt last year that I had never set foot in until opening day and we both went home with nice archery 6x6's. I've killed a lot of bulls...
Little brother and I drew General. This will be our first trip in Wyoming, and we're pumped! Lot of success in Idaho, so we've got high hopes of putting a giant on the ground!
