WTS - Want to Try to Sell. Typically this means someone has an item that they haven’t used at all. If it’s Sitka clothing, you can usually count on the pieces being used only for “trying on”. Of course the tags were removed so that proper fit could be verified. Usually these types of items are...
Got my first archery bull in CO last week. Very grateful for all of the helpful folks on here for the tips, advice, and community over the years. I think it’s a big part of the reason I’ve gone 3/3 on my elk hunts so far.
Just go somewhere as soon as possible. I’d honestly recommend trying a rifle hunt this year if you can swing. Planning a hunt for 4 years isn’t nearly as beneficial as just going out every year between now and then.
It’s not your problem, but I’d be curious what your company’s insurance policy looked like. At the last company I worked I had a company truck that i could use as my personal vehicle. but, they had the "execs" trucks on a separate insurance policy from the other work trucks. we also had to fill...
Any good suggestions for fishing spots and/or good hikes in the frisco area? Going to be up there this weekend for work and have a couple of free days.
Turns out my reading comprehension is garbage. My bad. One last suggestion to look into is the Bluetooth enabled hearing protection. Not sure you could brand it, but I’m sure they would be appreciated.
My favorites are (in no particular order):
Yeti coffee mug, cups
Yeti hopper
Carhartt rain jacket. The more expensive one, can’t remember the exact name right off.
Some higher end hand tools.
It might be helpful to know what your company does or at least general field. Someone in...
Wait a second, does this happen?? What’s the premium on washed/unwashed? I probably have some from last year that I can let go of for the right price. 🤣🤣🤣
I was big into waterfowling when I was a younger man, but I don’t really enjoy it anymore. It’s cheaper to go on one or two DIY elk hunts than it is to maintain all the “stuff” you need for a good duck hunt. And, there’s really no comparison between even an OTC Colorado rifle unit and the boat...
Thanks for sharing this. I know it wasn't your intention, but looking at those costs makes me feel better about what I spend on going out for one DIY hunt every year.
Mine are at 420gr and I’m wondering the same thing. I don’t really think I’m going to try and change a bunch of stuff a month out from the season though because my bow is shooting extremely well as is.
Check out Kyle from RR buildings on YouTube. I think the way he builds them is the way to go. Not for me personally, but I could definitely see the utility in having one.
I don’t think you’ll find a better deal than this. I see hogs a lot on WMAs where I am in upstate SC, but I don’t think I would say it’s comparable to hunting over feeders.
I wouldn’t be upset about it, but I think people would just start using locations instead. If you think it’s bad on here, don’t go on FB. In some of the groups I follow on there, people are asking about which trailheads and drainages to go to.
If you have a local gym with a ski erg that would get you breathing heavy. I don’t think it totally replaces whatever your PT says though.
Also, my non-medical $0.02: Don’t screw yourself up for the rest of your life trying to punch it during one hunting season. It’s trading a short term gain...
I do t have any definite advice but here’s what I’ve found to be effective:
Make it sound hard and miserable. “Man it snowed 3 feet, we didn’t see anything for a couple days, it was a real physical challenge, etc.”
Get a financial commitment months ahead of time. “Hey man, I’m going to go...
