I'm surprised how many people resort to a guess and check method on power consumption and storage. This is often the source of frustration people have with solar in general. Everyone seems to try and just guess at there power needs. Calculate your consumption per day figure out how much...
Likely the latter. Even if we are being generous that panel is maybe putting out 1W in full sunlight. That would require more than 100 hours of direct sunlight to recharge the unit complete 1 time. I use a black web 10k mAh and a big blue 28w solar panel.
I've been going back an forth on how well making people wager their points would work. When you put if for a draw you select so many of your points and throw them in the hat. At that point they are gone forever whether you draw or not. Definitely out of the box but would get a lot of points...
The other thing that plays into deciding on being in debt is time. There is value in having something now rather than 5 years from now. Unless you are trying to build generational wealth you just need to decide how you want to spend your earnings. If it is worth it to you to pay a little more...
It's definitely a matter of priorities. How much does owning your house mean to you? It's not gonna be easy but if that's what you want above most other things it can be done. Kind of like starting a business it may take everything you have for a while and if the importance of home ownership...
I agree. If you take the equity out of it maybe it would be close. I am definitely not suggesting that these are things that should dissuade someone but rather that they aren't minor costs and can really be a pain if you didn't plan them in your budget.
Not much input on the suspension upgrades but do you have the room and the brakes for 34s with no lift or offsets? Most of the F150s I've seen are a little short of room for that.
Here's a radical idea. Pay the company to use their severely under priced product. Use a promo code and you can probably get another 10% or more off as well.
No direct experience with the pad but I do have a OneTigris tent that is well built for the money and doesn't leak. I've only had it out a couple of times now but initial impression is a good one.
I've got harses and if I can draw a buddy or 2 to break away from elk season back home they will come along. Don't know that I'm keen on taking a pair 13 miles deep by myself though.
Obviously since this is a hunting forum my motivations are pretty obvious but feel free to drop a post or dm about anything to do with the place. Even if it's some summer pics or general terrain/ecosystem info. It's a lot of ground so there's no way I'm even gonna scratch the surface on foot...
