    There’s probably a more scientific explanation, but usually soft tissue and organs cause rapid expansion of a bullet. I’ve had the same experience of hitting bone on entry and it seems to penetrate farther. Guessing it’s bc the bullet doesn’t expand the same as it would in soft tissue.

    Black Sabre is the 75gr A VMAX. I think there was mention of it somewhere before on here. It upsets quickly. EDIT: In my head was thinking VMax when I read AMAX...sorry. Multi-tasking is a challenge....

    Federal Fusion 62gr through the shoulder has put a lot of deer in my freezer. I would assume the 73gr ELDM will do the same, but have not used it yet.
