Anyone have a T&K Hunt Gear Suppressor Cover?

Oh - if its not a velcro sleeve Id be more than open to it. Apologies, clearly I made a misinformed statement

Anyone have a T&K Hunt Gear Suppressor Cover?

I dont like how it wraps around one side and uses velcro (strong dislike for Velcro), making it slightly thicker. I dont care for the exposed glide buckles. I'm sure it's fine - I just prefer a more fitted approach with as few hard surfaces as possible.

    .257 Roberts

Its really more a pursuit to find what your rifle likes. Use what you have on hand and can get. For me, Id use h4350 > h4831. Also, I havent owned a 257 roberts but my buddy uses one. Awesome deer and hog gun.

Anyone have a T&K Hunt Gear Suppressor Cover?

I dont use that one, and looking at it I wouldnt consider it. I use an armegeadon that is sewn tl fit your specific silencer, so its tight. Less exposed things and tighter https://armageddongear.com/product/suppressor-cover/

    16” barrel 270 win, h4350 or h4831

I cannot believe someone has a 16” 270, what a world. Do you recall what velocity you were able to push the 122 hammers with h4350? Any thoughts on terminal performance?

    16” barrel 270 win, h4350 or h4831

Hello all, Looking for some reloading insights, recently I have been forced to develop a new load for my 270 win with a 16” barrel as the powder I had been using (re22) is unobtanium and I wont pay price gouging on gunbroker. Ive always read faster burn rate powders are better in short...

.300 win mag suppressor, 26" barrel.

Depends on the terrain mostly. Lots of trees makes it much harder. If its got some good timber and shots wont be more than 400 - 500 yards i take my 270 with a 16” barrel and the suppressor. Normally for western hunting I use my 7 rem mag with a 22” barrel. You will spend a lot more time...

20moa base, adjusting for scope line of sight.

I called and inquired about that too. The ballistic turret has 55 clicks. Not 43moa. Its just weird.

20moa base, adjusting for scope line of sight.

The ballistic turret models only have 13.5 moa, thats how i got myself cornered here. I moved from a non BT to a BT and didnt realize it went from 43moa to 13.5

20moa base, adjusting for scope line of sight.

I dont believe i have enough elevation in the turret to achieve even a 400 yard zero with the 20moa base, thats my predicament

20moa base, adjusting for scope line of sight.

Hello all, Hoping for an opinion here. Ive got a set up that i use for units where shots are on the long side, historically ive been displeased with my ballistic turret having elevation stop at 670 yards. I want to practice further, but my range has 600 or 850. The holdover is such that i...

CO - 66 unsuccessful hunt feedback

Hello everyone, We hunted CO 66 first rifle last year and Im hoping to bounce some thoughts off those who may be more familiar with the area. We didnt really expect to be successful our first year in the unit, but we were surprised to that many of the places we e-scouted did not match our...

    Failing marrige

Thanks for the support everyone! We have been working on things. I will say, its not easy and covid has not made it easier at all. Things seem to wax and wane. Work for both of us has been relentless, and Ive seen a series of unfortunate let downs within my career the last month which has not...

    Bettendorf, IA...potential move.

You nailed it, it would have been getting me closer to western hunting more than anything. I couldnt do IL, either. The school system in Iowa is great, and so are most of the people. You may not have hurricanes, but I dont plow my drive. Youve prob spent more time plowing your drive in the...

    Bettendorf, IA...potential move.

Thanks! Yea, i knew it was a straight wall state - i had a 45-70 at the time of posting. I sold it after some long talks with the wife where we decided that moving to the quad cities sounds good on paper, but its overall not the life move she thinks it is. Im sure it will come up again as she...

    Sold Swarovski 8x slc hd

Yea they are amazing. It honestly hurts a bit to sell them. With how my hunting partner and I are hunting, it just doesn't make sense for me to carry two binocs and a spotting scope.
