Prm, that tab is for opening your pack one handed. If you keep your zippers centered up there, you should be able to rip that whole panel open. If you see that kind of tab on any of our products that's the idea behind it.
Chippewawarrior, the new frame sleeve doesn't have the pass throughs for the load lifter tacks on the Bikini frame. Shoot me an pm and I can help you get a Stryker rigged up.
Morning guys. I usually balk at interjecting in threads along this vein because it riles up the crowd. A lot of these threads go unanswered for that reason and you guys should get the skinny on what and why we do things so damn weird.
We have a pretty different way of doing business for sure...
Not the Stryker, you're probably talking about the Kutthroat. It will be a lighter weight internal framed pack. Its next on the list and will probably be in the store by spring of next year. I'm going to do a write up on it when we are about to launch.
The Grabit attachment points on our bags are the two common loops on the bottoms of our bags. On some of the smaller internal framed bags ( Shapecharge and Doorgunner), instead of the Grabit common loops I added a track of webbing so you can adjust the take off point for the Sherman or Grabit...
Bimmer, there is a 1/4" closed cell foam sheet on the back but it is pretty simple construction. The Organizer slider was meant to be the part that really protects your computer but it is limited in which computers it can haul around. With laptops getting smaller and smaller, more will fit in...
We used to make a Koala (standard, not lite) waist belt where you could turn a Koala into what ended up being a Tailgunner2. It's been a long time since we made them but you could probably find one if you looked hard enough. The Tailgunner2 and Koala were about the same size if you find one of...
The 14er will have the better suspension for sure, the stays are 23" long and have load lifters. A dual density lumbar pad will ride a heavier load much more comfortably when used with the omni belt. You will also have more space without adding pouches over the SC.
The Shapecharge has a full...
Mystery Ranch uses Duraflex buckles and we use ITW so they more than likely wont work together. The bane comes with a ton of slotted buckles to hook it to any 1" webbing tab.
Western,
We do not use plastic stiffeners in any of our belts. We use .5" closed cell foam for our duplex belts and each side is one solid piece so they won't migrate or do anything funny over time. Plastic in the belt can lead to hotspots due to restricting the foam from cupping the hip bones...
The Native is a usual Nomad combination as it rides really well in between the wings and can act as a compression panel. You can also use a quarter panel or grabit to contain a dry sack in between the wings as well. I see people post a bunch of combinations on this forum that always surprise...
Just to clarify, there are 1" tabs all over the Hellcat for you to attach our K clip straps or slotted buckles to. As mentioned before, it might hang down a little bit but there are enough tabs to attach it to a frame, even as a huge lid if wanted. Shoot me an email if you have more questions on...
I am working on some new stuff. Can't confirm or deny packs at this time as we are juggling timelines and getting stuff pushed through production. I will post here with new releases so you guys are in the loop.
Xcutter - There are tabs at the top of the black frame sleeve that you can attach the back lid compression straps to (see the pic that Dinger posted above, the tabs his buckles are attached to can be the upper load lifter tabs or lid tabs). There are two sets of tabs on the front of the bag...
That is indeed a handle. I got a lot of flak for not having a handle to hang the Shape Charge against trees and off of vehicles for grunts. Our double stitch 2" webbing handle added too much bulk to the seams in that area so I used the tubular nylon for a handle in that area. It's placement...
