I ask because it would be the same as shooting that zebra at 250 yards with your 28 Nosler. Bullets matter more than which cartridge they are fired from.
If you want to increase your calories/oz you need to be focusing more on fat and carbs. For example, regular jerky is mostly protein, with little fat content. I would be substituting this out for something like Bacon Jerky. Other great options are nuts, Moon Cheese, Snickers bars, dried fruit etc.

I haven’t looked through a Credo but it seems to me that even if you lose sight of the fine centre crosshairs that you’d be able to bracket your target fairly easily with the thicker outside reticle.
I’m right at 2750fps, 16es and 4sd. I only checked those numbers off the start and have shot a pile of the load since. Been really consistent. If you can find imr-8208xbr I would recommend that one as well.
Curious on this as well. It’s my biggest gripe with the SG sling. Slick sling can do it, it just never felt very secure. Back to my tried and true Gun Bearer.
