buy one of the cheap knockoffs from Amazon and cut how many sections you need to sit. It's a little wider than the actual "sit" pads, but that is a plus in my book
I've had similar. We have cameras so that is the first thing I tell UPS when I call them to tell them my package was not delivered to my house. The last time this happened, I saw UPS deliver a box to my neighbors. I was pretty sure it was my package. Called UPS, told them I did not get my...
I have a 2012 Ranger 800 xp. It has been completely reliable. Very smooth ride and is balanced well that it sticks to the ground when climbing hills better than my quad. My only complaint with Polaris is their 4 wheel drive system. The rear wheels need to slip BEFORE the fronts kick in. You...
I have heard the same on Nightforce. But also the same on every scope I've listed. Seems there is not perfect optic, and sometimes they fail or do not track straight.
I was looking at the VX5HD at my local gun shop a couple days ago. I do like the glass, but was not sold on the reticles...
Evaporative cool is one of the causes, also, most of those seeps / springs are REALLY cold water. I agree that the smallest little trickle will cool off a canyon, especially if it is in a timbered area and basically create it's own thermal effects.
The more open the area, the faster the...
I have the Smith Masterminds but they are also discontinued. Fit my big head well. I've been meaning to email Smith to see what they would recommend that is similar.

I have a Jetstream vest that I wear all the time in the fall, but not hunting. Just every day wear. Great piece. Provides core warmth and wind stopper.
I know it has been asked fairly often, and I have read just about every thread but figured I would reach out for other recommendations.
I am outfitting my .280 AI Savage Ultralight. I want to keep the glass under 24 ounces if possible, preferably lighter. Budget is $1500 max. Primarily a...
Honey Stinger waffle and Jif to go peanut butter cup, or skip the peanut butter if you are worried that it will attract bears (IMO in a zip lock in your pack, your scent would keep the bears away more than the slight smell of peanut butter attracting them as you are hunting, but take care of the...
I prefer to have my spray attached to my bino harness. The stretchy UDAP one that comes with the spray will fit over the top straps of my AGC bino harness and the spray sits perfectly right on top. I do not drop my pack often, but unless I am taking on or off a layer, my bino harness is always on.
