What are you finding wrong with them? I log on to AZ NM WY and they all take about 5 minutes apiece …..done. I think the three I put in for are about as easy as it gets.
$300 bucks is cheaper than flying to AZ on Friday and staying in a hotel for two days then flying back home Sunday afternoon like we used to have to do to get the permanent non res point.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro for I think 2 or 3 years now and it is a great phone. For using maps deep in the mountains you need to download the area you plan to hunt/be in at home where you have internet service, then you will have all the map and info you need just like you had internet when you...
NM has some great Antelope and the tags sell out every year and all the tourists towns in the state are jam packed with tourists every weekend and all summer. There are guys standing in line to take your place in the Antelope draw and no parking available in town anymore.
I’ve got a 1999 F250 with a 7.3 and a 2021 F350 with a 6.7. I like the 99 but the 6.7 F350 beats it in every way ! The 7.3 is a good Ol boy, very dependable but it doesn’t have half the power or the fuel mileage of the 6.7. I didn’t think there would be a motor I liked as much as the 7.3 but...
No matter what trailer you get I would get 14 ply tires. I haul a Case 75C tractor with a loader on a tandem trailer and I blew out 3 of those funky Chinese tires on it in one day.
I live in a safe place and carry everyday. I have very comfortable IWB holsters and depending on where I’m going I will carry different firearms. Going to an event, church, wedding, game etc.
I will take my S&W .38. small and stays hidden real good, maybe my S&W Shield compact 9mm. I might...
I had a big John mule a few years back he was 16 hands a big mule. All summer he was great,we road him up into the wilderness no problem. Then one day we went to get him to pack an elk out, he had destroyed the gate to the pasture and got into a big fight with a horse.
Ok, he’s having a bad...
Chasing points for up to 20 years….. a lot can change in that amount of time. The elk herd changes, the game and fish can change things up, point creep…. A unit today that takes say 16 points now to draw will probably take 26 years to draw…. I know because when I started buying AZ elk points it...
Doing it gutless you still take out 4 quarters, both back straps, both tenderloins and the neck meat. Now after doing the gutless if you want the liver or heart it’s just one slice, reach in and get them. Gutless keeps the meat cleaner IMO.
You should find out how your horse will do with a dead elk quarter on him before you get in the mountains and find out he’s not going to have any part of packing.
Some horses never blink an eye when you load them for the first time and some will throw a fit.
I carry in the bank, in the restaurant, in the gas station, in the truck, had one on me the other night at a rodeo, carried one in the hospital to visit my sister I carry everywhere even bow hunting. Never really needed it but I like having it on me.
You can buy nice expensive leather saddle bags but these have been tough as nails. We ride and pack in some hell holes and they do take a beating and still in great shape. Bought mine from Outfitter Supply.
I bought a really cheap pair once and destroyed them on the first ride.
